Welcome to the Southport Amateur Fishing Club Inc NEW website

The Southport Amateur Fishing Club Inc was established in 1931.  The aim of the club is to promote good fellowship among amateur anglers, advance the sport of fishing by contests, training and education, and lastly, to assist by way of subsidy with expenses in the promotion of the sport of fishing. 

The clubhouse is located at Marine Parade Southport on the Broadwater near the Southport Olympic Pool, and has historical significancs as the building was re-developed in 1965 and again in 2000. We are one of the largest fishing clubs on the Gold Coast and we are welcoming new members to our club. . 

We are one of the largest fishing clubs on the Gold Coast, and there are plans underway to increase the building size to accommodate the growing number of members.
